“ Impeccably natural beauties, stylish clubhouses of modern comfort and a second to none attitude – set the Siam Country Club apart from any golf courses in Thailand”
When the Siam Country Club in Pattaya opened in 1972, it was the first privately owned golf course in Thailand. Time has moved on and in March 2006, the Siam Country Club embarked on a total renovation project of its existing 18-hole golf course, which is today known as Siam Country Club Pattaya ‘Old Course’. At the same time, the new 27-hole golf course was launched just 6km away; in March 2008, the new ‘Plantation Course’ opened with its distinctive, architectural ‘Bird Wing’ clubhouse, set high on natural rolling hills, overlooking the course and breathtaking views of Pattaya and the sea beyond.
Thailand Golf Tours brings visitors from all over the world to enjoy the fantastic views and incredible course at the Siam Country Club, Plantation Course and can easily organise your visit. Thailand golf Tours works with individual and group travellers to plan tours to Thailand’s many golf courses; as part of a visit to Thailand or as the basis for an entire holiday in Thailand focused on golf. With excellent local contacts and wealth of local knowledge, Thailand Golf Tours are able to ensure the golf break or holiday that suits your skills, interest, budget and time requirements.
The 27 hole, par 72 (7404/ 7495 yards) Plantation Course at the Siam Country Club is of championship quality; designed by well known Arizona based, Schmidt & Curley Design Inc. The ‘Plantation’ name was given in the honour of the historic Sugar Cane, Tapioca, and Pineapple plantations, and each 9-hole is named accordingly. There are great practice facilities that include a grass driving range complete with pitching area, sand bunker and large practice putting greens and the clubhouse is exemplary; a stunning design with superb vistas.
