“This impeccably maintained course takes the player past a series of lakes, creeks and challenges and when you reach the 9th fairway, there is a large golden Buddha bringing luck to some as it looks out over the green”
When the Siam Country Club in Pattaya opened in 1972, it was the first privately owned golf course in Thailand. Time has moved on and in March 2006, the Siam Country Club embarked on a total renovation project of its existing 18-hole golf course, which is today known as Siam Country Club Pattaya ‘Old Course’. At the same time, the new 27-hole golf course was launched just 6km away; in March 2008, the new ‘Plantation Course’ opened, overlooking the course and breathtaking views of Pattaya and the sea beyond. The Old Course at Siam Country Club is set in the low hills, amidst beautiful natural scenery, mature trees, fruit trees, sculptured shrubs and plants.
Thailand Golf Tours brings visitors from all over the world to enjoy the fantastic views and incredible course at the Siam Country Club, Old Course and can easily organise your visit. This impeccably maintained course takes the player past a series of lakes, creeks and challenges and when you reach the 9th fairway, there is a large golden Buddha bringing luck to some as it looks out over the green.
