“A mountainous course which has views to match its challenging holes”
The first golf course to be designed in Koh Samui, the Santiburi Samui Country Club is a championship course which hosted the Bangkok Airways Open in 2006. The course is on the northern coast of Koh Samui and is built on its hillsides. With breathtaking views of the nearby island Koh Phangan, there is much to appreciate at the Santiburi Samui Country Club. The course has very comfortable changing rooms and a clubhouse which comes with a restaurant and a terrace which golfers can relax on whilst recounting their round.
Thailand Golf Tours brings visitors from all over the world to enjoy the incredible course at the Santiburi Samui Country Club and can easily organise your visit. Thailand Golf Tours works with individual and group travellers to plan tours to Thailand’s many golf courses; as part of a visit to Thailand or as the basis for an entire holiday in Thailand focused on golf. With excellent local contacts and wealth of local knowledge, Thailand Golf Tours are able to ensure the golf break or holiday that suits your skills, interest, budget and time requirements.
The Santiburi Samui Country Club has 18 holes, is a par 72, is 6824 yards long and was designed by Edward Thiele & Pirapon Namatra who have created other courses in Koh Samui. Waterfalls are a common sight at this course and its greens are very fast too. Good playing conditions are guaranteed throughout the year, especially as this region has high humidity levels. As it is a mountainous course, a golf cart isn’t required but this enables golfers to explore the wonderful countryside which is around the Santiburi Samui Country Club.
