“A Peter Thomson-course which has great views and an abundance of local fauna”
With an excellent reputation in regards to the quality of its greens, the Royal Chiang Mai Golf Club & Resort blends in with the surrounding terrain and doesn’t attempt to look any different but instead merge with the countryside. Waterfalls, streams and fruit orchids are found throughout the Royal Chiang Mai Golf Club & Resort and its humidity levels aren’t as punishing because of its high altitude levels.
Thailand Golf Tours brings visitors from all over the world to enjoy the incredible course at the Royal Chiang Mai Golf Club & Resort and can easily organise your visit. Thailand Golf Tours works with individual and group travellers to plan tours to Thailand’s many golf courses; as part of a visit to Thailand or as the basis for an entire holiday in Thailand focused on golf. With excellent local contacts and wealth of local knowledge, Thailand Golf Tours are able to ensure the golf break or holiday that suits your skills, interest, budget and time requirements.
Designed by Peter Thomson, who won the British Open on five separate occasions, the Royal Chiang Mai Golf Club & Resort has 18 holes, is a par 72 course and is 6969 yards long. Many of its holes have a links-style and its fairways can cause many problems if a drive is not precise enough because there are various pot bunkers throughout. The Royal Chiang Mai Golf Club & Resort is a hub for local wildlife, in particular many birds which are native to this part of Chiang Mai, and golfers will be able to experience a round at a course which works in harmony with nature and not against it.
